In this game, I had just resigned in a daily game. As you can see, the screen displays the rating change as +4. Any ideas?null

Resign another 99 games. Reasons,

1. To make sure that the "odd" is real.

2. To get better statistics, you should get +400 rating then.( u got +4 rating by resigning  one game)

Hmm, that's really weird, I looked at the game, your history, his history, the tournament...

Your opponent gained 3 points and you gained 4. Very strange.

I believe the gain/loss reported is the difference between the rating when the game started and the rating when the game ended. Do, if you have completed other Daily games that may have changed your rating in between then you may get an odd result shown.

Remember...its 2018 where everyone is a winner!  Even when you lose...I mean...are the "second place winner" You still deserve points.

What? How is saying that chess.com ratings are overinflated a reportable offense?

You are (or were) rated 238 points lower than your opponent. You are expected to lose. So, maybe the way you lost is worth a few points?

what was your rating when. the game started? I'm guessing the formula to calculate your new rating uses your starting rating and not your current rating. So you probably dropped points from there. I hope that makes sense.
