Does anyone else find that the analysis tool quite often comes out with complete crap? I moved white Nf5 so I could attack the black Queen, which was the plan. Instead of moving the Queen out of the way white captures my knight with a pawn. In the game review, analysis remarks that it was an excellent move, completely overlooking the fact that I am now going to take the black Queen. So I take the black Queen and win the game shortly afterwards. Have I missed something?
If a player is lost, no matter what they do, then any move is good.
Nxc6 was correct. Nf5 looks bad since it's answered by Qd8. Martin's wrong in his assessment since Nxc6 is completely winning and with Nf5 white wins an exchange and is still only a piece up which at your level or with little time remaining is not necessarily lost.

I'm specifically stating the way Game Review classification works here. White is completely winning, from an engine evaluation standpoint, so no matter what black does is going to be classified as an acceptable move.
The point Martin was trying to make is that White has such a dominating position that the difference between ... Qd8 (best move) and ... exf5 was relatively small (less than 10%) and can thus still be marked as "Excellent" despite dropping a Queen for the Knight.
