Game threatened to stop before time ran out

So, nothing new on that front? None of the tens of thousands of players here is bothered by that?
Is there a mod to change the clock? Im constantly losing because the clock sound is so bad and the positioning of the clock is so bad.

Ig u have to use some extension to change the clock size to a bigger one. I used one but had to remove it since the large clock looked ugly on my screen. Its bright, vibrant colours distracted me from games when I played a test one unrated.

I sat in front of my blitzgame and tried to figure out if I blundered and tried to salvage my game with about left (3+2).
At over one minute left the chess.com red text appeared threatening to end the game in a couple of seconds. Some stupid code apparently thought I wasnt playing anymore. Well, I was. I still had time. Suddenly I only had a couple of seconds to decide, and I went wrong, the match obviously went downhill from there.
What nonsense is this? Why can I not use my time? Is it the same when playing classical? After a couple of minutes you are suddenly forced to move?
There is a maximum time that can be taken on moves, based on the time control and where in the game you are.

I think that article might be out of date and the long move timer is in effect for the whole game.

Thanks for the link, how would i find that ;/. Thats probably it. More than half... but still, if its lost after a mistake in that turn...
Anybody can send me a link to extensions or something? That clock problem is still bothering me hard..

Normally the game gets auto-resigned when you disconnect (LOL I lost most of my games because of this!)
