I havn't played chess in about 5 years, and I'm just starting to get back into it. One of my favorite games on the chess website I played on, was "guess-a-move". I'm pretty sure that's not what it was called, but the principal was this:
The server would record every GM game that was played, no matter what the speed. The server would create the guessing game, and players would join. The idea is that you're to guess what moves the GM's made. You scored points for every correct answer, and the number of points was determined by the number of person who get the move correct. ie, you scored higher if fewer people got the move correct.
It was definately one of my favorite games, as it was relaxing, and it brought up alot of discussion during the game.
Does anyone know of a website that has this, any information would be greatly appreciated!
i have another idea , to play a game with two groups , first group ( of 5 to 10 players) for the black side , the other players for the white , then each group will discuss and decide the move ,,,,
I've found out the game type is called Solitaire chess, but I can't find a club that offers it as a game type along with other players, only personal growth.
