So, I ll start this topic regarding GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation, new EU law, which I would like to discuss, if someone has some experiences.
If there are any of members of this site which are included in journalism, web sites and blogs or other means which are used to promote chess activities in your local communities and clubs. So my question is if the new regulations (and how) will affect articles regarding chess competitions (standings, statistics, local club rating lists, membership lists or others).
For example, some clubs used to have web sites, or blog sites, or even some players used to maintain these on their own in which those used to publish results of various local competitions like club championships, matches, league matches, blitz, games and interesting positions, photos, promotion of local players.... how these will be treated by new laws, is it going to be allowed any more to publish for example standings from last weekend rapid tournament held in our club, since by new law no publish of other persons personal data will be allowed without consent.
if someone like to discuss, many thanks!
