I wonder what affect this forum might have on a brain.
How is chess good for the human brain?
Chess is good if you want to develop grounded, disciplined thinking. Less good for developing a more lateral, creative 'big mind'. (Unless you're Tal or someone)
Chess makes people think in different ways and differently to non-chess players.
How?
It can help them by boosting brain power or make them end up with mental health issues, Bobby Fischer was one of those people with many issues. They call him a troubled genius.
I read somewhere that prevents it old alzheimer's disease in old people but it will not help you much to get a nice score in your IQ test
I heard that from somewhere too, but it is not made to make your IQ higher.
CHESS ALSO HAVE SIDE-EFFECT
LIKE SOMETIMES U MAY GET HEART ATTACK TOO IF TAKE TENSION IN GAME OF CHESS
You mean get stressed out a lot? Chess is a game where people sit down and don't move around. So that might make them unfit.
Few professional chess players experienced heart attacks because they are not FIT. Many are obese. The greatest world champion Kasparov. is also the fittest. He was a long distance open seas swimmer. Old Korchnoi was a yoga practitioner. Even Bobby Fischer have the physique of an athlete. And Carlsen spends lots of time at the gym. And occasionally plays soccer.
no that is incorrect. the solution is to knock his king off the board
