Petrosianic: I looked at your trajectory and it's really quite an abrupt rise there. Did you have coaching, or did you just play a lot and study a lot?

wow,,me in just 5 months i get 1400+ in standard chess from 900+ here in chess.com!! I'm so very proud of what I achieve in just 5 months.. ^_^ ..

Play and learn from those you play! I went from 1400 to 1900+ in a year, and from there to 2100 in another year. It depends on how hard you work at it. You may lose some games initially but if you analyze your games and learn how to improve in those positions that reoccur or are similar you will win more and your rating will increase. By the way, I learned chess junior year high school, and playing in states encouraged me to play in future; also I played in the Open at Carlisle this year.
