Good bye chess.com

Hey Storm!
I agree. Shutting down V2 is a disaster, for me too.
But.... I have tried V3, on my laptop, and to be honest, there is nothing wrong with it.
Only problem is, I am not that much on my laptop, and I mostly play my chess moves on my iPad.....and on th iPad, V3 simply does NOT work....
So I am afraid that if V2 stops, I will also stop playing on chess.com....

I am using V3 on an ipad right now with no problems...i do prefer v2 but i used the option in v3 called classic and it looks more like v2

50 years old is already considered "older people"?
That can't be!! I will be 50 in little over four more years - I'm not going to be put into that category so quickly.

I just went to settings in v3 then clicked on home, then set home style to classic...it really looks alot like v2 and operates the same way

Op, I feel your pain. But where will you go? For better or for worse, this is the only real chess community there is. Wouldn't it be better to adapt?

V2 is better - but because it's better, not for any other reason. It's simply faster when you play blitz.
Apart from that (the speed in blitz) I believe that V3 is actually better.
But I like blitz so much, that the balance is still on the side of V2.

I wish you stay in v3 and help the developers make it better by showing them what problems it has - and possibly how they can fix them.
Good bye chess.com the site I know for more than 19 years...
