Thanks gambit-man and wormrose. I found the magnify glass, and am able to use analysis board now in this new version!!
Good bye chess.com

The only good thing about V3 is variants and a better look, and the only thing I don't like about V2 is the fact that you can't change the theme
you can change the theme in v2, but there ain't much point anymore if it's going. themes is an area where v3 needs improvement

V3 is much better
You have joined around the same time V3 was implemented. I don't know the exact date, but I am guessing anywhere from 3 days before it was implemented to a week after it was implemented, judging from the date you joined
Is not true.
This is my second account.
My first account was in the end of 2013 (that i closed for my private reasons), at end 2013 there was v2.

ive been around since 2012. when v3 came out, i switched and i loved it. i switched back 3 months after and i saw how inferior v2 was.
at least for me, all i need is easy access forums and easy access live chess.
The same for me

I don't see why everyone is so against v3.
I dot think its so much against V3, as it is that it has been 3+ years, and its still not working. Its more about frustration with something that has taken that long, doesnt work, is defended to the death by the staff, and mods, and not even a whisper of "yea... we could have done it better" Its like chess has taken a backseat to the bells and whistles. "We dont care if it works, just as long as it looks good"
What doesn't work in V3? I'm not being provocative, I simply haven't seen any issues.

I'm old. I got used to V3. If I can do it, you can do it. I use it on a laptop, desktop, IPad and IPhone. Apps and website, No problems,

I know you may have better luck by posting questions about equipment here: https://www.chess.com/forum/category/chess-equipment

I agree with you chessdotcom, "We dont care if it works, just as long as it looks good" lol

Compared to V2 its a memory hog. Seriously??? How much advertising did you need to add? It loads slower than V2 (I wonder why?) YOu have to click about twice as many times in V3, as V2 to get to the same place. What was wrong with "Resign", "Draw", etc? Why were they replaced with symbols? Just a bunch of stuff that wasnt needed, or ncessary.
oh yeah chess give them lava lava hahahahahahaha bring it on all and for all go go chess go go chess

No offence, but if it loads slowly for you then you must have a pretty slow computer. It loads in a few seconds for me even with all the adverts. If they are a problem for you, you could always pay the £2 a month to get rid of them.

for me it is more difficult for group things and the social aspects of the site, I prefer it for live chess games
I 100% agree with you...

Really? I have no problem with the social aspects of the site. If anything, I enjoy interacting with the members...

It's over.
There's no point in rehashing the arguments of the last three years.
There are about 15 people who will quit.
The rest will adjust.

Well said. Let's get back to playing chess.

I do not have a slow computer, nor a slow internet connection.
Some smart chaps have discovered the source of the problem, it's entirely the fault of v3.
I didn't read the comments, and I am not tracking this forum, but just a quick note I wanted to make that chess.com/chesspark.com was founded in 2007. You couldn't have known this site for more than 19 years
I posted about it a couple of times but just saw that chesspark also started in 2007.

So, no way 19 years is correct, unless the OP had been following the company that made the Chess Mentor software (which owned the chess.com domain name) from the beginning. The Internet Archive has an enrty from November of 1996, so the company was around then.
