The game speaks for itself, SF vs Lc0, SF has a TB win with sky high eval and yet it draws.

It happens. I played a game recently where I snagged a queen for a rook. It was late middle game.

I had to settle for a draw. -I'm sure a chess engine could have won it. But he had a single passed pawn, so my king could never get away from blocking the pawn. The other pawns on the board hugely helped my opponent. My queen could never do much other than harrass my opponent's king. Anytime I tried to move my king, it was basically giving my opponent an extra tempo in the game.

Trying to pick off one of my opponent's pawns with my queen would have been giving my opoonent two tempos instead. So I was forced into a 3 fold draw when it became impossible to lose anymore tempos due to his pawn being on the verge of queening.
