I quite like when an opponent says good luck before a game, imo it opens up a conversation during the game. The good game is simply a nice gesture at the end, but if it was not a good game I would not say it, in that case I would say exciting game or something like that.

It's good manners to say good luck and good game. Don't get salty because you lose.

If I were no good without the help of luck, I'd be sensitive about it, too.

What a weird problem you have.

Good luck with that.

Why do players feel the need to wish another player ''good luck''when in fact they could not care less in fact when they go to play someone underneath they wish to crush this player. When was the last time you noticed a waring country wish another waring country good luck before they engaged in battle?

You only wish someone ''good luck'' because of your own insecurity

you are being wierd.

this is just a way to be nice.  you don't have to play trying to be as mean and nasty as possible.  its not a war.

The "good luck" ritual never made any sense to me whatsoever.
