I guess it went a little bit off topic.
Goodbye
Welcome to the internet, where the anonymity makes people feel safe to be complete perverts and say things they would never say face to face because they know they'd get slapped silly. Sorry this person's immaturity ruined it for you.

ALL HAIL TO THE....screw you!
This is the internet. Anyone can make up anything. I have no reason to believe that even one of your statements are accurate. And I don't see you posting a photo of yourself either. In fact the man on the motor bike might be Tom Cruise. So stop lying and trying to boost your ego because all it does is expose your own hypocrisy.
No, actually, I can prove it. I can take the picture with a note that says "GM SUCKS" on it, whenever you want. Just let me now.
like I said, no ego boost here, only the ego boost I get for not having to flirt w/ girls on chess.com
Women are very fasinating. On the one hand they intentionally use provocative pictures of themselves and appreciate compliments on their looks, but when they start attracting creeps they act like they never saw it coming and are completely disgusted and terrified. There must be a very fine line between flattery and creepiness, and mastering that distinction may be an art.
That is a good point. Some women do play head games and lead men on, just to get a thrill out of being admired and pursued; they use every "asset" they have in order to get men to chase them.
But most women just want to come on here and play chess, not to be hassled by horny men. I also think most of the general rudeness and childishness on this site is perpetrated by men, not women.
I don't like for guys to pull this kind of sh**t that the OP was talking about, unless she has given some indication that she is remotely interested. It's kind of like those guys who expose themselves to women who are complete strangers. Yechhhh!! Like that's what a woman is looking for??

Not only was Laura a great player, but she was a joy to chat with during games.
+1
She was so marvellous. Normally I don't like to chat too much, but there it was no problem for me.
I feel sorry for Laura. But let me say this: some girls come to this site to play chess-great! Some come for some other reasons-shame on them! Chess.com is not a social site to meet people, this is not mateme.com!
True... but what about the women who DO come here to play chess and dont "advertise"... and still have idiots verbally assault them? "the boys will boys" mantra is just that.... those are boys not men. Every year I have between 18 -25 chess playing students and typically of those ... 3-4 are girls. I do not tollerate ANY sexist behavior toward these girls (ZERO tollerance rule) and that is from DAY 1 of the season/ school year.
Yeah I caught that Aetheldred. I think he meant WHERE-EVER you are. OMG, did she just leave the site, or pass-away?? Another un-timely death on chess.com. I'm gonna miss her, I was in love with her for years. I don't know what to say. I'm devastated.

Sad story, sad forum, sad people.
