Hello everyone

I have never played chess before in my life and I'm going to try to become a grandmaster in chess in only 100 days. A friend of mine challenged me to do this since I'm an addictive learner. Wish me luck and support me on twitch.tv/3picemuboy

Kind Regards

Jordi

That's not going to happen, I'll give you 1:1,000,000 odds and still bet for it.

Guys, he already closed his account. You are conversing with thin air now

Lmao!!!! This joke just wrote itself! WHEEEEEEZE!!!!!

Yeah, it's so great that a guy who had no idea what he was talking about, set a challenge for himself and everyone instantly attacked him until he closed his account. Everyone that posted previously is severely insecure.

He cheated. I didn't attack him immediately, but when he doesn't play by the rules he can't expect people to be nice to him.

He's probably thinking dang, those r some hateful mofos on this site. A lot of non players don't realize the level of commitment, work, & talent it takes to be one of the best. In anything.

You should look at his first games. He claimed that he had never played chess before and his games does not reflect that. I believe he either lied about being a beginner or was cheating.

I did not attack him, I encouraged him!!

No truer words ever were spoken when it comes to the actual value of the grandmaster title in the context of chess. So what motivates us to get that grandmaster title? Autonomy, mastery, autonomy, purpose and autonomy!

In hinsight i regret posting this post, it was unnecesarily rude and mocking on my part. Nonetheless i still don't think he was legitimate.

That's absurd, you're pretending there is no acquired skill in being a grandmaster.  You're pretending just anybody can be a grandmaster, that it doesn't take any special talent, and that clearly is not true.  And which thing worth knowing can be mastered in 100 days?   You dis grandmasters.  Get back to me in 100 days and tell me I'm wrong.  Dawg!  #ThatsCapp!

His rating gap and yours is quite near, please do not use harsh or sarcastic words over others. Even for an automated bot such as Siri, this could be very real.

One year later, are you a GM?
