Grandmaster's blunder?!

They're only human. In the grand prix in Baku, Bacrot (elo ~2700) left his queen en prise. I havent been following Dortmund, but i'm guessing it's not that bad. 
Van Wyle mixed up his opening moves and played 13. Bf3 a move too early (he should have played 13.Qa3). This human mistake lost him the game.
One of the key differences between Masters and non masters is Masters tend to blunder less! However they still blunder from time to time. They are only human

Also, there is a lot more going on in Grandmaster games. The games are normally balanced on a knife edge, one tiny mistake and POW right inthe kisser :)
The mental resoures/stamina must be a factor aswell. Fair enough they train for these conditions, but it doesn't make them any less intense.
can anyone explain why this grandmaster (vanWyle ) was doing such horrible mistakes at Dortmund tournament?
