Winner gets to play against me in standard chess!

Halloween gambit cuz you play it in every single game

and also the Halloween gambit kinda forces the opponent to move their piece twice in the opening

Garvdking999

How do you know?

Piru2021

Every game we played you play Halloween gambit

Garvdking999

I guess so!

Garvdking999

This is my favorite variation of the Halloween Gambit!

Piru2021

They move the same piece 4 times in the openingsurprise

Haloween gambit is useless and losing if your opponent knows to play 5. …Ng6 instead of Nc6.
Garvdking999

I'll prove you wrong soon!

Garvdking999

FETOXO!

Piru2021

I just realised ng6 is kinda losing for the white pieces

Fetoxo
And how will you prove me wrong?
Fetoxo
I already played against the haloween gambit. It was kinda easy because I know that I have to play Ng6, and my opponent lost easily.

same here.

I'll prove you wrong like this!

I won't move things like this. Of course, black can lose with every reply if they are stupid. Let's play a game and if you can win with the haloween gambit, you are right. If I win, I am right.

My favorite gambit is queen's gambit because it's not really a gambit

Halloween gambit is crazy, I like the Mengarini because again its not really a gambit

The Halloween gambit is far from losing. Dubious, sure, but if White knows what they are doing and learns the necessary theory, it's a very dangerous surprise weapon. Qf3 against Ng6 is very challenging, and even if Black gets into a queenless-middlegame with the knight for two pawns, White's position is surprisingly impenetrable and Black has difficulty making progress.

Particularly in faster time controls such as blitz and rapid, the opening often succeeds in attaining White a substantial (and often decisive) time advantage along with the initiative (should Black chooses to hang on to the extra piece).
I don't think I have ever lost a game in the Halloween Gambit where Black held on to the knight. Instead, giving back the knight with Bb4 achieves a more reliable edge.

I've never even been close to losing against the Haloween gambit.
