Temptation?

knowingly possess firearms in nexus to interstate commerce? Not once. Ever.

Charged with it? But of course. Imagine that.

I sure hope a woman who's just been in a car accident doesn't show up on your porch, Superknight.

Don't you have some "evil plants" to go kill?

We all know why you resent others living in their sickening “complacency” and “illusion of safety.” You hate anyone who doesn’t live in fear, and you resent the fact that you can’t do the same. (Great quote from a gun owner and enthusiast) ... here's some more: World peace, a world free of murder and hate is the ultimate agenda for most of us. The ultimate agenda is a world where we don’t NEED killing machines at all. The existence of 300 million machines of death in one nation is a sign of failure. Some day, when we’ve changed enough as a species and as a people, we might not need machines made to kill each other. Will that ever happen? Probably not, at least not as long as we continue to be descended from apes, and act like it. But Pandora’s Box has long been open, and we continue to act like talking monkeys, so guns will be an unfortunate necessity for the foreseeable future. Most of us accept that. But, maybe someday… yeah, a world that doesn’t need killing machines might not be such a terrible thing.

The apes feel insulted.

You dudes in the States are lucky. We cannot even own an air rifle in Britain.

Are you sure?

Before the first human entered the scene. However, one could argue that dinosaurs killing one another could be considered war, or insects and small reptiles, for that matter.

We humans don't kill each other for food ...

You rail against fear mongering yet you are one of the most obviously paranoid people posting in these parts.

Chillax, brah.

Of course you will probably respond "I'm not paranoid, just realistic." ...to which most people will let out a chuckle, or perhaps a hearty guffaw.

Chillax brah.

Avatar of Babytigrrr

You are a fool John. I'm not in the least paranoid, I'm not even against owning guns... live and let die. We Europeans surprisingly are not in the least bit bothered what you do. The only time it is mentioned is when you accuse us of being paranoid that you wanna all arm yourselves and you think we even have an opinion on it. Go ahead I say. Adjusts bra.

And we do actually own guns over here... My uncle shoots game regularly and owns gun dogs and I've been clay pigeon shooting on occasion too although I pulled my shoulder the last time. See, they can be used for sport too. (Mutters something incoherent about dumbass American).

Avatar of johnmusacha

Well, ok, then sorry if i misapprehended you.  That's good to hear, sounds reasonable, this in particular is quite refreshing:

"We Europeans surprisingly are not in the least bit bothered what you do. The only time it is mentioned is when you accuse us of being paranoid that you wanna all arm yourselves and you think we even have an opinion on it. Go ahead I say. "

Next time a pompous, finger wagging European scalawag harrumphs about American gun crime rates or shootings, I will refer him to your statement above.

I feel the same way, but from the inside.  If Americans want to shoot each other, let them.  They are animals anyway so let them lose their souls.

So let's all paint our naked bodies and sing Kum-Ba-Yay, in Central Park--

P. S. -- the "murder rate" chart in post #63, is about 3 people per 100,000.

You'd never know that by listening to the 11:00pm News.

Avatar of Newkidonadonkey

Nomadicknight, please stop using the french flag. Your posts are way too long and proof of the undefendable nature of your arguments and your rude comments. You cannot know who will abuse a gun one day in circumstances that he judges to allow it.

Avatar of RonaldJosephCote

Are you SURE your IN the right thread donkey??   Rub your eyes and take a good look at the flag that Nomatic Knight is flying. Don't try counting the stars. I assure you, there's 50 of them.  No offense to the French, but kids on donkeys shouldn't play with guns.

Avatar of Winnie_Pooh

Noone should play with guns. Far too many idiots on this planet are playing with guns.

Avatar of nobodyreally

Funny how Japan seems to be on zero in that diagram. They still use traditional weaponry to kill their citizens?
