I would go for a book on tactics in Chessable, there are several great books, like The Checkmate Pattern Manual, you will love it. Your friend can register for free, purchase the book and give it to you, there is a specific function allowing this. The video upgrade is expensive, you don’t need it, just the book.
If you haven't got any tactics books yet, I'd recommend Predator at the chessboard. You can use it as a puzzle book but it goes into basic theory of tactics too.
by opening books like Accelerated Dragon , etc
I recommend this book: CHESS 5333 Problems, Combinations, and Games; By Lazlo Polgar (WGM Judit Polgar's father). Happy early birthday!
