There isn't any evidence, that I know of, that Hans Niemann ever cheated over the board, and when he cheated online, he was still a teenager.
Hans Neimann
Neimann at first claimed he'd never cheated, then when some online games where eventually found that were suspect, he contested them. Then, when it was proven that he had cheated on those games, he admitted to only those games and claimed those where the only times he had ever cheated. Unfortunately, more games were found and this circus of "denial. proof, admission" continued for a while. The problem for Neimann is that he was so blatantly dishonest about his initial denials about cheating. Psychology has a lot to say about the mental make-up of people who cheat, Neimann is probably a sociopath, and he will, in all likelihood, never be considered fully trustworthy.
No I don't mean ban him over the board. Just online.
He should definitely be monitored very strictly if he takes part in any online prize events, I agree. Maybe not a total ban though unless caught again as an adult.

He was banned when that happened. Then he got a second chance. This is they way it always happens on chess.com.
Beating this drum 8 years later is just bizarre. Why now? Why not back then?

We can do without your armchair diagnostics. Niemann cheated in several unimportant games as a child and didn't want his reputation tarnished for it. Given recent events relating to Naroditsky, you can easily see why he'd want to avoid the resultant media circus.
Claiming he's likely a sociopath with no evidence is way off base. Making mistakes doesn't make you a monster.
Why doesn't Kramnik take charge on a person that is actually cheating instead of who is playing fair.

Wasn't it Chess.com and Magnus Carlsen who have accused Niemann of cheating mostly? I'm not sure why we have to blame Vladimir Kramnik for everything that happens in the world. Kramnik himself has coached Hans Niemann, and he doesn't seem like the kind of person who would coach a man he thought was still a cheater.
Every person can be accused of something worthy of "banning". Everybody. Cast the first stone and all that.....

Ì mean i am currently 16, the age Hans niemann cheated, 16 is way too old, especially after already being punished at 13. This should make him subject to additional searches and maybe other measures and an online Ban.

There’s a statistical analysis of a couple of years’ worth of his OTB games showing he did statistically significantly better at events that were broadcast with no delay, where cheating is possible with an accomplice, than at events with a delay, inhibiting collusion with an accomplice.
chess.com had extensive analysis done of his then recent online games that they said showed more cheating. I believe this was presented in court when Hans sued Magnus and chess.com, and the lawsuit was later dismissed.

Interesting, thanks! Do you have a link?
Unfortunately I can’t find a direct link. I believe it was discussed in one of the 2022 threads on the matter.
I did find a link to his withdrawing at the last minute from a tournament when they announced stronger anti cheating measures.

I don't see why Hans is even allowed to play chess professionally. Sure he's good now but he cheated before and there should be no second chances regardless of age. At least ban him from Chess.com why is there any second chance at all if you cheat you should be banned for life from competition involving money cheaters are scumbags and shouldn't be allowed to play.
