Has Anyone Ever Mouslipped a Move... and with it, the Game?

That's what I originally thought, but that would leave the rook undefended, so I could take it while getting out of check.

I need to do OTB chess
In a critical OTB game... played in the last round, paired against the tournament leader, half-a-point behind, winner wins the tournament... I made a blunder changed the course of the game and confused my opponent so much that it won the game and the tournament for me.

Yeah, this is the question the OP should have asked, because everyone has made mistakes that lost the game... the interesting thing is when you make a mistake that wins the game (or a mouseslip that was better than your intended move).
But since this forum is full of kids and beginners, its more like "OMG has anyone ever moved a pawn TWO squares on the first move? I wonder if I'm the only one." 🙄

lol

i have gotten mated because of a mouslip before like it didnt go into an endgame it just ended a couple moves after

Has anyone ever been playing blitz while tired, and played ~5 moves of theory in an opening without realizing you're playing a game? Then you sort of "wake up" and wonder what the opening was and look back to see what you did?
Has anyone ever been drunk and started 2 blitz games at once, and been parried with yourself, and because of premoves you play ~10 moves into the game without realizing you're playing yourself (not possible on chess.com as far as I know).
I've done both of those.
This has to have happened to SOMEONE else on Chess.com. I just lost a game vs. and 1100 because I mousslipped my knight to one square off from a fork that would've hypothetically saved the game by ensuring at least one rook. I need to do OTB chess
