I haven't had that bug. But it has happened to me more than once that I've done all three puzzles and then only had two in my stats. It annoyed me when the one that disappeared was a successful puzzle, but at least I could do another puzzle.
Maybe you can report it to chess.com, so they can correct the bug. That's how you improve software, isn't it?

Would they believe me? How do I prove that I got that puzzle right? I could give them my thought process to finding the solution but they can claim I got there after seeing the solution after missing it. In any case, if there's a bug, which there very well could be, I think that they must know about it already but the fix is not done.
I've done the odd puzzle where instead of seeking a positive increment, there was a deduction to the Elo even though I solved it right. That said, I reckon it happens maybe 1:100-200 puzzles but I remember seeing a couple the past week. Been meaning to report it but I'd be happy if they just fix the new puzzle patch they're only just recently after unleashing upon us
I did the three puzzles that are given to you every day, got them all correct but when I went to look at my stats it showed I got the first of the three wrong; I even took the time to find all the moves before starting the first move.
The puzzle was actually fairly easy, but I wanted to work out the entire solution before moving. It's a mating net situation.
I'm very disappointed.
