Play slower paced games first (such as daily chess) rather than blitz, bullet or rapid. Understand the game first at a slower pace. Then you can increase your speed later on. 4. Don't take the help of engines or computers to beat other players. Trust your intuition. You will make mistakes initially but you can learn from them. Use computer analysis of the game AFTER the game and not DURING the game. Taking help of computers during a game counts as cheating. 5. Buy a subscription if you can afford. You can then access all the lessons, videos, unlimited tactics (I'm not advertising or anything. Just saying). 6. Search online for best chess books for beginners. Many old books are in open domain and available free of cost. Best luck!
