Help improving in rapid?

Just general tips, I never go above 1000.

Before you tell me to do puzzles, I have a 1751 rating

I don't have a paid account and I will never get one because they don't police low rated chess games

Rapid is the only mode I am willing to learn, Blitz is not chess to me, and longer games are not worth the time effort to mental reward payoff

Do your tactics at chesstempo.  Puzzle ask stings here are way too inflated.

I thought puzzle rating was crazy inflate. There is no way I can do anything in a situation against a 1700 rated player. Maybe 1 in 100 games I could beat that player or get them into a draw

Play. Gain expirance.

Learn. Analyse your games and openings.

I don't know. I have the same problem.
