Maybe a lenevo one?

Perfectly right. I got an older Samsung laptop and since 6 months a laptop of Lenovo. it did cost only € 350 (17" monitor). But also with an iPad / iPad Pro it's comfortable enough, but there are fewer options in the menu.

Logozar,

Better get a lenevo laptop then :)

Okay, Harish, it's settled: Lenovo, e.g. Lenovo G-70!

lenevo G50-45 costs $350-400

You better choose a lenevo laptop.

The system requirements say it'll work on Windows XP.

Any brand of computer will support Chessbase as long as it's running a Windows operating system.

Hi logozar, check the following Options of the Notebook. 1. Resolution of the display should be 1600 x 900 or better 1920 x 1080. 2. full grafic card, not a shared grafic card,. 3. Display should be none-glare to be able to play in the sun 😉 4. processor should be Intel I5 or better I7. Check the offers of several Dealer to get the best Options. A Notebook with all this Options may be at 1000$. So with 400-500$ you should check the special offers to get a Notebook with some of the Options. KR MotorCycle69

a used surface or surface pro will be nice, portability and connect to a monitor when its not.
