He is the Happy Gilmore of Canadian chess. He plays 15 move combinations at GM level but every so often hangs a piece.

No problem, not if it's a national master you wish to be!
Of course, if you're dealing with FIDE you'll probably have to take out a loan.

Nah. To get anything from FIDE you have to take out shares in Kirsan's space yacht and visit another galaxy.
"2727 soccer" in chess there is nothing such as "Candidate National Master", but in chess there is something called "Candidate Master(CM)". To be a Candidate Master(CM) you will have to achieve an Elo rating of 2200 or more! And the title is held for the rest of your life! YOU DO NOT have to pay to achieve any title (There is nothing such as "paying to be a tilted player" that is complete BS they are advicing u with!). If ur rated 2200 or more, U CAN CLAIM to be a Candidate Master, and if u claim it will definetly NOT take a month, probably it will take a week. I repeat, U DO NOT have to pay to be any titled master. If ur rated 2200 or more and tell ur organisers or arbiters or managers or chairperson or vice-chairperson or sectarary, they will be very excited and crazy excited to award u with that title since it is rare to be a titled player. (Don't Stress... They probably won't take longer than a week to make u a Candidate Master(CM) ). YOUR ONLINE CHESS RATING WILL NEVER EVER MAKE YOU ANY TITLED PLAYER(u cannot be awarded a title because of ur online chess rating because u can cheat easily online and 90% of people in chess.com would cheat if u can be awarded a title via ur online chess rating)... thank you so much fighter you were actually helpful however if you refer to this pagehttp://chess.ca/titleholders you will find their indeed is a national candidate master. the thing is it says that if you surpass 100 points above the rating floor you are awarded the title automatically regardless of norm. does that mean if i reach 2300 im automatically a national master?
and i doubt that smoking pot will help but ill try it and see what happens.

Jake, ur online "correspondance" chess rating is lower than 1400, and it is scientifically provern that in correspondance online chess you can perfect ur moves atleast 90% at best moves, because in correspondance chess u can think the "whole" day just for a single move, now think about it, THINKING/PRACTISING THE WHOLE DAY FOR THE BEST MOVE is almost perfection. Ur online chess rating is lower than 1400, and trust me, ur not even close to becoming a titled player(eg. Candidate master)!...even me with my rating of 1650+ I am not even close to becoming a ...master! U and Me have got long way to go!...U DEFINETLY CANNOT BE A TITLED PLAYER BY EARNING POINTS, THAT IS BS!...WHAT DO U WANT TO BE?! A CHESS MASTER OR A MASTER OF POINTS?!...U definetly DO NOT have to smoke AT ALL to become a (chess)candidate master or FIDE master or National master or International master, it would be so EMBARASSING to ur club or team if u could'nt continue ur match because u needed to smoke rubbish like pot or cigarrete or cigar, drugs etc. .....just like my favourite player Mikhail Tal(Mikhail Tal was a Former world champion that needed to smoke almost every world championship match while playing, sure it humiliated his Soviet Union Club that desperately needed him for his talent!)...don't try any crap that anyone tells u to smoke, trust me! ...Jake, from my point of view I think ur lieing about ur reality rating, why do I think so? I don't try hard either, and I am around your rating. So I guess that would make me a class B player as well!!

Yes, class B is between 1600 and 1800 for FIDE. Therefore 2727soccer is more like a class D player, whereas ivandh is more class C.
i really need to know what the requirements are to become a canadian national master and a candidate natoinal master. I tried the website (chess.ca) but i couldnt figure it out
. cansomeone please summarize the requirments. all help is appreciatd.
