Well, considering the fact that some guys play "out of book" meaning non main line variations from move 2, or 3, some were from the opening, some middle and mostly on the endgame. I'm currently reading Silman's endgame book but I'm not sure if that's the solution.

Hi guys,
Lately, I've been on this plateau where I stay within a certain fluctutating rating range. Of the last 55 games I played, I won 33 and lost 23. Of the 23 games lost, 6 were with my favorite white white opening and 17 were with my favorite black opening. Not to come to an established conclusion here, but I figure one of two things could be happening 1) there's a problem with my black opening that needs work and attention 2) white has the advantage since that side plays the first move and sets the position of the board right from the start.
What do you think?
