Hey Chess.com

I'm back. I deleted my account to prevent myself from playing online chess. I felt that I wasn't taking it seriously and that I wasn't improving. I'm planning on rebuying a diamond membership and using this place for Training/Forums exclusively while concentrating on more book chess study and OTB chess.

I recently completed a tournament in Calgary and ended up with an 1852 performance rating, which I think is close to my true strength (though my performance here had been dismal of late). I'd really like to be an expert by the end of this year (or even in a few months) and staying on here playing online games trying to raise my CC rating was just hopeless and a waste of time.

Anyway if any of you were curious as to why Kupov disappeared there's your answer.

It's possible that I'll play some standard time control live chess games in the future, but probably not until I manage to get to 2000 CFC (USCF equivalent).

I'm hoping to do a lot more tournaments in Calgary in the near future so that I can get an official rating.

Congrats on the excellent performance. You got more talent than the average bear for sure! You'll meet your goals I think.

Glad to have you back too. I was already regretting that I never really gave you a good hug <sniff>.

Thanks amigo. I'm just like you now!

Jolly good and good luck reaching 2000!

How about those Flames, eh? 2nd in their division isn't bad.

If have time left on in, I'm guessing that you can probably have your remaining membership transferred to this new account if you ask.

Possibly. I'll message Eric and he can get his flying monkeys on it.
