Perhaps it’s not the best idea to dig up old threads like that….

I only do it to teach the young kids what....."prominent" means. frustrated                            I'm reminded of an old Mafia joke in which the guy says......."other than killing a few people every now and then,....they were pretty nice guys".surprise                 That's what happens when too many people start reading & believing "revisionist history".

Isn't the painting false?

I read an article that says that Lenin was bald at the time and right handed.

Seems unlikely.  I can't say for certain, but I know he hated communism with a passion. Which is why he couldn't contain himself and betrayed his pact with Stalin, to his own demise.

On the other hand, dogs do play poker. And bulldogs are cheaters according to this rare painting.

It is unlikely Hitler played chess and even less likely he ever played Lenin.

Yeah, he was also a vegetarian who loved animals and children...who happened to have ordered the deaths of millions of people.

Yes,
during the First World War Hitler fought at the front in Belgium, while Lenin was exiled in Switzerland.
When Lenin returned to Russia, he was busy with a revolution in 1917, a civil war 1917 - 1922, a famine in 1921. In 1922 he suffered a stroke that paralysed his right side.
Meanwhile Hitler was busy rallying in Munich until he was jailed after his failed coup in 1923.
So they probably never met and never played chess.
