Germany

                      vs
Argentina

Contest between Germany and Argentina will revive memories of World Cup finals of the late 80s and 90s as the sides face each other for a record third time in Brazil this Sunday 13th of July 2014. On Records Both their last World Cup triumphs came against each other, with Germany crowned champions after defeating the Argentines in 1990, while the 1986 final being the last time the South Americans won the trophy after edging West Germany in Mexico.

Germany will make history as the first ever European side to win a World Cup on Latin American soil. Despite their annhilation of the hosts, native support in Brazil is likely to be behind Die Mannschaft in favour of Brazil's nearest and bitterest rivals.

This time the Germans, who were making their third consecutive appearance in the final, enacted revenge in a game considered to be one of the worst World Cup final spectacles ever. Following the end of the Berlin wall, the newly united Germany would also be playing their final tournament as West Germany and were favourites ahead of the clash.

However how can Argentina Beat Germany?! well All eyes will be on Lionel Messi, who at the age of 27, will be playing in his first World Cup final. Argentines will be hoping that the greatest player of his generation will be able to summon the spirit of Diego Maradona and honour the memory of recently deceased Alfredo Di Stefano by leading them to victory on the soil of their bitterest rivals.

Messi helped Argentina win the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup, finishing as both the best player and the top scorer (with 6 goals). In 2006, he became the youngest Argentine to play and score in the FIFA World Cup, and won a runners-up medal at the Copa América in 2007, in which he was named young player of the tournament. In 2008, he won an Olympic Gold Medal with the Argentina Olympic football team. In 2013, SportsPro rated him the second-most marketable athlete in the world.[8] His playing style and stature have drawn comparisons to compatriot Diego Maradona, who himself declared Messi his "successor".

@ 2 days left before Championship Finals Who's gonna be The World Cup FIFA 2014 winner Is it the German's or the Argentinian's well Let's find out on Sunday Goodluck Kick that Ball Go for Goal!!!

They will not beat Germany. I just hope they don't start crying and leave the field like Brazil almost did. Laughing
