Just sit down and put the work in.  Look over well annotated games, study endgames, a ton of tactics and well rounded openings.

Pushups, situps, and drink plenty of juice.

Try to reach 1200, then ask again.

 A lot of hard work, maybe five years; You have to be dedicated to your goal, very few players can do  this.
