Drink more energy drinks.

Learn to move fast in the opening. Don't spend too much time thinking, sometimes your time advantage will cover for you material deficit, if there is no increment. Always look at your time, don't allow yourself too far behind in time, else you will lose.

Do puzzle to get familiar with some mate patterns, forks, pins and the likes. I use all this tips in my blitz and bullet (3:0) (1:0). But with increment, you shouldn't blunder too much material, you are most likely going to lose.

Never spend too much time thinking when it comes to playing chess.

Too much time can be relative. In rapid game, if I am sure I have some winning sequence, I don't mind using over one minutes out of my remaining five minutes or four minutes to find the right move. If it is a rapid game with 10 seconds increment, I don't mind spending over two minutes trying to figure out the right move.
