How come there isn't a Chess Improvement forum?

The General category is always clogged with beginners seeking advice.
People who enjoy being helpful could hone in on the Improvement forum and we wouldn't have to see the same pasted set of tips over and over in General.
OculorumAcies

I think that's a good idea, although beginners asking vague questions would probably stay the same.

is that possible on just the app too?

urk
Is what possible?
Different categories?
Yes
sparxs

What i meant was....is it possible joining a group on the app alone?

urk
Yeah, you can join groups but I'm talking about the forums.
Not sure what you're trying to say.

Makes a lot of sense.

Graf_Nachthafen

I always found it strange we got a forum for openings but not for endgames.

Maybe we could have a "Chess Theory & Improvement" forum instead ?

urk
Graf, there is an Endgame Study forum. Did you miss it?

I've been wondering exactly the same thing, Urk. When one forum gets so many questions on the same topic, it makes good organizational sense to add another forum to distribute the load.

ed1975

Good idea to have an improvement forum!

YorikOGwaun

how come urk hasn't been gifted a free membership yet ?

he has brilliant ideas and could revolutionize the forums.

mostly the forums are full of rubbish and it's time to fix them.
