The funny thing is that the guy trying to find inaccurate moves in my games around move 17 with the help of an engine while himself he doesn't even understand what are the very main ideas of the Catalan.

It’s because you are weak in the middle game, basic tactics, blunders and end games relative to your peers. I’m starting to think you are over rated, explains why you think highly of yourself over others.

1200 player saying to 2200 that he is weak in everything . That was a joke of the day!

Well I learned a lot today.

I got to know you very well, and we have the same white repertoire in common but you would be the last person I would go to, never mind recommend as a coach.

Do you think I want to teach somebody as useless as you are?

We’ve proven that you’re the problem, not me.

Your track record and others have confirmed it.

Chess knowledge isn’t everything, it’s also a skill set and I am not even going get into your coaching style and character traits today. I’ll save it for another day.

Do continue to speak…..

Bruh, I thought we settled this. Give real advice to each other rather than calling the other stupid

Hi! You should find out your weaknesses as a player. On the other hand there is also specific training that will help you with blitz games. I could help you improve, if interested please send me a message and I will reply with details of a coaching proposal.

Good luck!

LOL! We may be 2200 chess.com but we are nothing compared to 2000 fide! I think he just meant that he was surprised a 2100 rapid chess.com would teach him.

I don't know how to play chess?

It is generally good to get a coach. From my personal experience, the biggest difference is how resourceful fide 2000s can be, coming up with counterplay out of thin air!
I tried this trick against a 2000 recently by sacrificing a pawn for a lot of pressure and activity despite already being down a pawn, and it allowed me to regain his pawn after he had to sacrifice it back for activity and also make a completely drawn endgame (and draw the game)!

Coaches aren't really useful. I got to 2000 in only one year with minimal studying and no coach. You just need to not give up and be good at subjects that require calculation or memory, such as math.

I was talking about fide 2000.

Most of these people are 2500 blitz chess.com (well, if they actually play on chess.com and not lichess). That is their strength.

To reach 2000 blitz you probably have to do it before you reach age 20

I started chess at age 21, started playing properly when i was 27, hit my best ever blitz 2530 few weeks ago, Its all about how badly you want it, and how preciesly you do the training.

Hi!

Sorry I can´t offer free trial lessons. On the other hand I coach beginners and intermediates only.

Good luck!

I use to feel like that when I was self taught, but a good coach brings out a lot of value and insight that’ll you’ll miss out on.

From your point of view I'm a beginner. I'm 1500 FIDE. Cmon!

Hi! Normally beginner level goes up to 1099 FIDE Classic or Chess.com Blitz. Intermediate level goes from 1100 to 1699. Advanced level from 1700 to 1999 . Expert level 2000 to 2199 . Master level 2200+. Where would you find yourself?

I´m an expert player and coach beginners and intermediates.

Good luck!

I told you. I'm 1500 FIDE rated player. Precisely my classical FIDE is 1545.

You're saying 2200+ level at blitz on chess.com is the master level? Then I'm a master! Ahahaha. You're so funny! In my country every 1300 FIDE is 2000+ on chess.com. One kid from my city is 2400 at blitz and 2700 at bullet and his classical FIDE is something like 1640 or something.

How can you teach chess if you can't even open up my account and check out my games?

I ´m a Chess.com coach. That means Chess.com checked my identity and my credentials. That is why I´m listed in this platform as a Chess coach. So I can teach chess. End of message.

Take opponents out of what they know. Learn sidelines and less obvious ideas.

FYI, you’re being trolled by a self proclaimed “Catalan God” aka “God Level”.

These are just facts for people catching up to speed on what happened earlier in the thread.

damn lol, you are only 1500s in fide

that's weak imao, How are you 2200+ in rapid with this fide elo at 37?

This is what most people who have never played in tournaments don't understand.

In my country, almost everyone who starts playing in a fide tournament has a super high online rating (2000 chess.com or 2300 lichess). However, in other countries it will be different depending on how serious most people there are about chess.

Here, 2200 chess.com is 1700 fide often. National rating tends to be 200 higher than fide.

I'm 1600 fide with 1800 national, but with super inflated chess.com rating of 2200.

Avatar of rook_fianchetto_37

Unless you start travelling to other countries to play tournaments, your fide rating is very much based on which country you are in.
