How do I get better at chess?

Thanks for replying! I'm not necessarily looking for specific topics, but more of a general idea of the game and how to really get better at it as a whole.
Easy, you either have the natural talent for chess or you don't. And if you don't, then you can't become good at chess.
Playing games often helps a lot. And you can also find a lot of study material online!
Thanks! I will look into those a little to see if they help.

I suppose so...
I know there are a bunch of things I can do like playing bots, doing lessons, and puzzles, but eventually there is a paywall, and I'm not that invested (and I don't have the money) to get the membership. I'm also aware that I can join clubs, but they make me feel weird and don't provide the real help I need. If anyone could please give me some tips, it would be heavily appreciated.
