How do you guys memorize the name of the chess squares?

I've been playing online chess for almost 2 years now so I recently decided to try studying chess by buying a chess book, I thought that I'd naturally be able to memorize the names but here I am, a 1900 player, taking 20 seconds to realize where e6 is and having the most difficult time reading the book.
