If there are less moves. There are less things to calculate. But if it was a longer game then there are more calculation that may give a less rating.

It's based in accuracies and somewhat in the actual rating of both players. The specifics haven't been released vand likely won't be
So in the game review, at the bottom is tells you what rating you played at, does anyone know how they do that?
My blitz rating (thats the format this game came from) i was rated 816
