How fast does your rating raise/drop?

I'm too busy losing 300-400 points every session to take a screenshot. And im too busy writing this to take a screenshot too.

LOL I had a losing streak of 19 games...

What is the point of playing unrated games? I never understood that. Is it really that important what your online rating is on a chess playing website.

So that you can paractice new openings before you play them in rated.

That is what I use turn based chess for. 

This is part of bullet, but it does stink: I played a bullet game today where I lost on time in the middle of a perpetual (I was two moves from mirroring a position for the third time) here it is:

My rating is 1275 and it shouldn't change dramatically like it did yesterday.

They're all just precautionary excuses to perform below your pretended strength... we all need them.

Why didn't you put one rook on the a file and one on the h file when the king was in the center of the 8th rank and move the h rook to teh 8th to checkmate him?

Because it was a bullet game!  I had no time to think!

I started playing about a year ago and it took me 7-9 months to get to 1200.  It took me another month to get to 1300 and I'm approaching 1400.  It seems like there's a pretty big gap between the 1300 and 1400 range in terms of skill because now that I'm playing the 1400's I'm having to think more than I'm used to.

well , for a new account if u beat a 1200 hundred u go up by like 80 points. if u lose then u go down by 100. if u r old and played lots of games u only get like 7 points for win.

1280 is now my rating.
