At your level try out gambits for the fun of it. As you increase your level, less people will "fall" for a gambit. More people will play book moves and follow predetermined lines which means a gambit can, by definition, put you behind in terms of position and material. Playing bullet anything can happen, but as your time increases you need to play a bit more solidly.
How good is the queens gambit? how often do players except it?

The Queen's Gambit is a very solid and respectable opening that's played a lot at the grandmaster level.
There isn't really a "better" opening than the Queen's Gambit, but there are other good openings that lead to different kinds of positions, so it comes down to personal preferences.
Are you a sharp, attacking player, or are you a more solid, positional player?
The Queen's Gambit is known for being very solid and positional. Magnus Carlsen plays it a lot himself.
I don't play the Queen's Gambit myself, because I prefer aggressive openings, like the ones starting with 1. e4. But we all have different styles of play.

if u r a d4 player, ur opponent has 2 major options, d5 or nf6
if d5, then u should go for the queens gambit as thats the main option, altho there are others like trompowsky and london
if nf6, go for an indian game with c4. if they go for some kings indian, learn that theory. if they play e6, i recommend nc3 cuz why not
So, i play the queens gambit and ive been doing pretty well but i was wondering if there are any other better openings thanks for helping!
