I played against the Questionmaster and he certainly did not play like Stockfish. He beat me, but Stockfish is much better and I can tell. My theory is that he always plays just a bit better than you. He analyzes your play and chooses his moves accordingly.
you're sort of right. but the thing is, his playing style is inconsistent.
What do you mean? How is his playing style inconsistent? And why would that matter?
i played 3 games against him. the first 2 games, i lost coz he played like a goddamn engine with a whopping performance rating of 3200. the last game, i annihilated him, with him having a performance of 1800.
Did you pretend that you barely knew anything about chess and make intentional mistakes? Because if you did, then he adjusted his performance and went easy on you. If you did not, then I have no idea how you beat him.
well, i went all out
Ponchik is a dog computer which is 2650 rated. But I drawed him the first time because he played like a goddamn rating of 2400 and I beat him the second time because he played a 1950 the second time. This is how ponchik loses: "NO! PONCHIK DOES NOT LOSE! BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK"
No actually this is how he loses: "NO! PONCHIK DOES NOT LOSE! BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK" with 15 barks instead of 14
NAH TOO HARD
