The bad news is that standard members only have access to the last 30 days of their games. The good news is that these games are held in storage and, as you guessed, a premium membership unlocks them.
How I can see a chess game from me which is about 3 years old?

unless you pay baddogno $10, seeing he got diamond, he will find it for you easily. 
Sigh...Yes, any platinum or diamond with the requisite computer skills could find it. As some of you have figured out by now, that probably doesn't include me...
