Fritz 20’s AI chat can comment on individual moves and explain the ideas behind them in natural language. It uses over 170 chess themes to deliver real-time voice or text commentary, offering insights like tactical motives, strategic plans, or even playful banter depending on the opponent personality you’re facing. It’s designed to make training more interactive and fun, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player.

I have Fritz 20 and would like to know how to access that feature. I looked at the instruction manual and can't find it.

It's activated in the easy game mode only against the robot, famous players, or those animals.

There's no point in playing stockfish, it doesn't have a style

When youre rated 3800. Your "style" is above any human comprehension.

the greatest chess player is around 2800 elo level so i don't think it will be ever surpassed by another human in 100 years lets say.

That's untrue. Stockfish is trained on Leela data. Patricia which is 3600 has a very aggressive style, berserk is a bit more tactical, komod dragon 3.3 is a little more dynamic

This is a game changer for beginner, intermediate players.

The only AI that is able to comment on a chess game "reasonably" well is DecodeChess for now.

Anna clinched the tiebreaker. My guess is Fritz20's Fischer personality plays slightly below chess.com's 2600 bots. In this one Fischer was out of book after Anna's 6...Bg6. At one point Fischer had a chance to be up by two pawns but messed up and Anna never gave him another chance.

So I've been experimenting with the robot variables in Fritz 20.

Creating pretty accurate reproductions of famous players.

Let me know if anyone is interested in more.

Magnus Carlsen. Attack 5, Risk 3, Positional 10, Position 1, Exchanges -1

I believe an opening book can be created to match the easy mode custom players for an even better representation.

I used those settings and had it play a game against chess.com's AnnaMuzychukBot (2606) and Anna won with the black pieces. Chess.com's game review (set to standard) said your Carlsen personality was at 79.5% accuracy and Anna at 83.3%. I think no matter what Fritz20 personality or setting you use it will play just below chess.com's 2600 bots.

Here's the game:

While I think currently there's probably only around 300 humans in the world that can beat Fritz20's VIP personalities in a match I think all its VIP personalities should still play maybe 100 elo or so higher than they currently are playing at to better match their real life counterparts. For the robot I would like an elo slider like chess.com has, with its maximum around 3200 which surely Fritz20's engine could handle.
