In Live Chess, a disconnection of longer than 2 minutes, or longer than your remaining time if that is less than 2 minutes, will result in time forfeit.

My internet connection went down for 7 minutes and when it came back my opponent had been given the game. I am sure I waited longer than that for an opponents connection to come back just last week. What is the cut off time for a lost connection ?
