How many games don't finish?

Or really what I should say is how many games (turn based) never get going? As a new member of this site I have started 6 games and so far 3 of them have been aborted after one or two moves - is this the normal attrition rate?

No. Not really. I would say 1 in every 10 or 15 games will be aborted.

EDIT: Okay, your talking about Online chess. Barely any of my online games are aborted.

You just got really unlucky with your pairings. Very few people abort. I have only had 2-5 people abort on me in the 200+ games that I have played.

Usually I find it's only the brand new sign-ups who disappear like that. My experience is more similar to myguy888 above.
