how much does your rating fluctuate? around 100 points give or take ?

I've been on a downward spiral lately, losing more than I win and it's quite frustrating. Just wondering if it's normal to be going down 100 points in rating.

I would agree; it’s been my experience since joining this site two months ago. Comes from playing so many different players and styles.
