It honestly depends on your position, bc if you are down material but have a strong kingside attack then you still have a chance. I'd say 17+ points is pretty losing, but you can easily still draw by stalemate or use an awesome trick called a windmill. If you still have a queen or rook then your chances of winning go even higher.

How much material can you lose before you know you have lost the game , tactically, 12 points 15 points ? Please don't tell me to struggle on to the end, because I might learn something, even though I am in my death struggle, after 12 pts for me , because stats prove when you reach a certain point its like 80 % for sure you lose after a certain point. What is that for you, 15/17 points more, less? and I always like this point you learn form your mistakes well I don't learn from my mistakes I learn from my successes and try to replicate those not mistakes I know the moment I make them they are wrong -- please some input here or advice thanks
