How should you respond

To rude players on here? Like for example, I have come accross a few people who do things like.

-Say "Idiot, but lucky" if I make a good move

-When I get them into a position they should obviously resign they let the clock run out.

-Offer a Draw from a position they could resign

I don't play much in Live Chess but if I did come across someone like that making crude remarks, just report the poor slug, ban him, and take it out on the next person you play against, that's what I would do. I'm not the "let the water roll over the back of the duck" kinda guy  LOL

thats right i played against people doing all that

I think they should play another game not chess

Regarding your first point (rude comments), that's why I have the option to permanently disable chat on ... although some players seem to be offended by this and abort the game, but I can't help this :)

Points 2 and 3 don't offend me, since I can simply let the time run out (I don't play long games online, usually something between 5 and 15 minutes) and decline/ignore the draw.
