Well, I failed 2 subjects at my university and it makes me feel very frustrated with myself. Do you have any advice?

Let it be a lesson - try harder next time, and you will succeed. Confidence helps as well. Spend more time studying.

Young American college students commonly have that problem. I don't know about young Chilean college students. Young American college students here commonly spend their time surfing and partying, then wonder why the Asians do so much better in college. The basic problem is the Americans never learned decent study habits in high school, don't realize that real life, business, and adulthood are extremely competitive, that their fun years are over, that they have to get serious about surviving in the real world, and that some of their competition in college has already incorporated such realistic awareness and attitudes.

Anyway, this thread belongs in the Off Topic forum. Is this yet another case where your competition has a caution and awareness that you don't?

No, I didn't. My failure was because of lots of personal problems and the subjects were such difficult instead of skipping classes

Well, my career doesn't require much competition like in careers like economy, but it needs a lot of awareness. I was always worried about my studies, but some personal problems got me very complicated to study. Finally, I wanted to put this thread in the Off Topic, but I put here as I didn't realize.
