How to get over the frustration?

Young American college students commonly have that problem. I don't know about young Chilean college students. Young American college students here commonly spend their time surfing and partying, then wonder why the Asians do so much better in college. The basic problem is the Americans never learned decent study habits in high school, don't realize that real life, business, and adulthood are extremely competitive, that their fun years are over, that they have to get serious about surviving in the real world, and that some of their competition in college has already incorporated such realistic awareness and attitudes.
Anyway, this thread belongs in the Off Topic forum. Is this yet another case where your competition has a caution and awareness that you don't?

well 80% of sucess is showing up. did you skip class by chance?
