Very resourceful reply in these types of positions.
Get a game called No Stress Chess. My wife and I play it and she enjoys a game or two but I don't pressure her to play properly even though I would be very pleased if she did. If she shows an interest then all is good. If not, then so be it. Find another game to play with her.

If your girl has tried chess and doesn’t like it, just accept it. People who are obsessed with something, be it chess, fortnight, model trains, or Jesus, think that others should be into it as well, but people are all different. Either accept this difference or move on.
