Please assist how can i improve my chess game

ThisisChesstiny

This study plan by chess.com is a good place to start. It will guide you through a process and reveal some of the great tools on here (Tactics Trainer, Mentor, videos, etc.)

I talk about my own study plan on my blog if you are interested in another approach.

Play long time control games (at least 30 minutes) and make sure you review each game and take at least one lesson from it.

Good luck.

study,play,study, play, repeat the process.

Get chess books appropriate for your level. I suggest you get Chess Tactics for Champion by Polgar and Winning Chess Endings By Seirawan. Don't play bullet chess, play at longer time control.

I look at some of your games, and you are playing opening moves that are not recommended.

1.e4 e5 2.h4??- Ask your self. What did you achived with this move? This move did not help you fight control the center. Did not free any of your pieces. A better move is 2. Nf3 as it develop your knight on a good square and helps fight for center control. 4. h5 your move again the same pawn twice in the opening without valid reason. This is dangerous as you will fall behind in development. You also blundered a pawn.

You blundered your knight away with 6.Ng5. You should work on trying to reduce/eliminate making blunders like this. Always look at the whole board, always study your opponent's last move, before you make a move check if there is a tactical drawback. Solve chess puzzles.

Don't be discourage by setbacks. Chess improvement takes time.

As simple as  always looking at the whole board, always studying your opponent's last move and checking for tactical drawback before you make a move will give you better results. You need to discipline/focus yourself at always doing these things. Of course you should also study chess and solve puzzles.

I like first post because it gives a balanced approach which I think will give steady consistent results. I am using same kind of study but doing more tactics than endgame but no opening study now (so 60-40 on my study time). Many reasons why I think us weaker players gain many benefits learning and practicing endgames. If you want to work on openings I recommend picking a few as white and black, and learning them as you play. But weaker players like us can reach playable middle games with good disciplined opening principle play almost always, so I think focus should never be great on openings with weaker players, when tactics and endgame study gives a lot more benefits improving our play.

That is a huge problem.  I recommend ironing it out.  You could get CT-ART 5.0 it's packaged with CT-ART Mating Nets, CT-ART Beginner, and CT-ART 4.0.  CT-ART 4.0 is an intermediate program so you'll want to go through beginner first.  Though CT-ART's problems tend to be grossly inflated in places and the "1700" rated problems are very easy.  Actually, go to difficulty, level 10, and do some from CT-ART 4.0 switching from that and beginner.  Don't do counterplay this task since you'll get higher rated problems.  Advanced Defense is a good program too but is sold as its own program.
