How to send trophies

In case you're not sure how to send trophies, I have written a brief explanation below.

#1 Sending a FUN TROPHY

Go to someone's Chess.com profile.  At the top there will be small icons.  Third from the left will be a trophy.  Click on that and choose which trophy you'd like to give.

#2 Sending a GAME TROPHY

For "Daily Games" or "Live Games" after the game has ended go into your "Game Archives of previous games played, click on the game where you want to give a trophy to the player.  There will be a small box with directional notes on what move was played when on the board throughout the course of the game.  There's a little board icon to represent this and there's a little "letter I" icon to the right side of this.  Click on the "I" icon.  Scroll down and there will be an option to "Send Trophy".

what do sending trophies actually do for the players involved? Is it just a badge to make the player feel good?

@BossRiceWallis  Essentially, you are correct.  I look at it as a sign of good sportsmanship and commandery.
