Humour in chess

I have come to the conclusion  that what distinguishes chessplayers from non-chessplayers and especially non-players, is nothing else than humour sense: chessplayers learn to tolerate ambiquity/uncertainty while getting into the opponent's mind rationally still aggressively.

Could it be that while the real world is full of serious-minded people, the chess world rather accommodates intelligent comedians?

the root of humor is pain, the stem is wit, chess players in general are witty leading them to appreciate the stem, because they are strong in one sphere of their brain they seem to be weak in the social sphere making them socially awkward and highly sensitive to criticism unable to see the full realm of humor
